David Agar
CEO/Co-Founder
David has over 30 years’ experience leading successful technology businesses, including in fintech and digital accessibility. A former CEO of an FCA-regulated payments firm, and the father of a neurodivergent adult son, David brings both lived experience and strategic insight to drive inclusive innovation and systemic change tackling financial exclusion.

Penny Roberts
Partnerships Director/Co-Founder
Penny is a passionate advocate for disability inclusion, drawing on her experience as the mum of a dyslexic and autistic son who found digital banking completely inaccessible. With a background and natural talent for building trusted relationships, Penny ensures that lived experience remains at the heart of everything BankAbility does.

Carolyn Cooper
Company Secretary
Carolyn is a qualified Chartered Accountant with wide-ranging experience in financial management and governance. As Company Secretary, she provides strong oversight, transparency, and compliance. She brings a calm, methodical approach to supporting the team’s mission that helps us stay focused, accountable, and resilient as we grow.

Leslie Whiteford
Non-Executive Director
Leslie is a highly experienced professional with over 40 years in the financial services sector, including leadership roles at E*TRADE, PwC, and KPMG. A committed champion of ethical finance and social purpose, Leslie supports BankAbility UK CIC with strategic financial insight, ensuring we remain sustainable, accountable, and impact-driven.

Carl Bradshaw
Non-Executive Director
Carl is a seasoned business adviser with over 30 years' experience in finance, governance, and growth strategy. Through his established consultancy, he supports leaders across the UK. A dedicated charity trustee and grassroots football club secretary, Carl brings both professional insight and a strong sense of community to his role.

Trevor Krueger

Trevor is a broadcaster, disability advocate, and the founder of Equal Ability Radio, a platform giving a voice to people with lived experience. Trevor ensures we remain grounded in the real-world challenges faced by those often excluded from digital banking. His guidance helps us to stay authentic, relevant, and responsive.
